Engro has launched Engro MOP in 50 kg bag, targeting all potash loving crops such as potato, maize, sugarcane, wheat, rice, cotton, vegetables, fruits, orchards and tobacco. MOP contains 60% Potassium nutrient and is the most concentrated form of granular potassium. It is also relatively price competitive compared to other forms of potassium available in the market. The chloride content of MOP is helpful for a soil where chloride level is low. Chloride content improves color, flavor and storing quality of fruit and vegetables.
